More than 100 newly qualified solicitors from around the West Midlands attended a reception held by Birmingham Law Society to mark their entry to the profession.
The celebratory cocktail party was held on the top floor of Colmore Plaza, in Birmingham.
Guests included the Deputy Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Cllr. Len Gregory,who presented certificates to the new solicitors, and His Honour Judge William Davies QC, the Recorder of Birmingham. Andrew Lancaster, President of Birmingham Law Society, hosted the event.
He said: “This event is now in its fourth year and Birmingham Law Society is delighted to celebrate with and recognise the achievements of new lawyers entering the legal profession. It shows the region’s firms are investing in the future.”
The event was sponsored by Harvey Nichols, Martineau, Servern Trent Searches and Wesleyan for Lawyers.
