LawWorks and the Birmingham Law Society Pro Bono Committee would like to invite you to our Pro Bono in Practice event to be held at Gowling WLG LLP, Two Snowhill, Birmingham, B4 6WR on Tuesday 26 September 2017 from 5.30pm to 7.15pm.

This event, organised in conjunction with LawWorks, is an opportunity to meet others involved in pro bono, to hear about latest developments and to share best practice on managing and delivering pro bono.
 
If you are involved in or interested in managing and delivering pro bono, or simply want to find out more, then please do come along.
 
Martin Barnes, Chief Executive of LawWorks will introduce and lead the event.
 
We will also be welcoming and hearing from :-

  • Rebecca Wilkinson, Pro Bono Policy Advisor for The Law Society of England and Wales;
  • Linden Thomas, Chair of the Birmingham Law Society Pro Bono Committee; and
  • Olga Ivannikova, LawWorks Membership and Fundraising Officer.

 
Guest speakers from Gowling WLG LLPHogan LovellsThe Wilkes Partnership LLP and Shoosmiths will each share their experiences of working in the pro bono sector and managing pro bono within their respective law firms, discussing the challenges they face.
