The national Law Society has launched a campaign to warn students about the risks of considering a career in law. As a result of the recession, many firms have reduced the number of training contracts they have available. Last year, 7,606 students passed their Legal Practice Course. Of those, 6,303 secured training contracts, leaving more than 1,000 without.
